Warzone has been out for nearly two years but players are always searching for techniques to get the upper hand over the opposition.
Whether it's using Stim to gain a sudden burst of speed or slide-cancelling to navigate Caldera and Rebirth Island as quickly as possible, these small advantages often make the difference between scoring another kill or taking an early trip to the Gulag.
Rather than using a Trophy System to block incoming grenades, some members of the community are using it to confuse opponents patiently holding an angle.
Warzone Trophy System Trick
The ingenious trick showcased by Reddit user 'DefunctHunk_COD' who was holding the staircase leading to the rooftop of Rebirth Island's Prison. As they anticipate the opponent, a Trophy System appears on the ground, drawing their aim away from where the targets will appear from.
After shooting the Trophy System, two opponents ambush the player knowing they would have no chance of countering them due to their aim being in the wrong place.
One commenter described the play as "fantastic" while others claimed that the player could've avoided the situation entirely through better positioning. Either way, it's great to see players using every single piece of equipment to their advantage, even if it's unconventional.
Is The Warzone Trophy System Good?
Often seen on the top of vehicles, the Trophy System is an essential piece of equipment to reduce the amount of damage dealt by incoming grenades and rockets. If you see one over the course of a match, it's probably worth picking it up to use with a vehicle or to lure nearby enemies into a mistake.
