WhosImmortal Claims Warzone Season 3 Meta is Broken

Throughout Season 3 of Warzone, players are always on the lookout for the next weapon to squeeze into the ever-changing metagame. With regular updates containing several buffs and nerfs, it's tricky to find the very best gun to use on Caldera and Rebirth Island.

With the start of Season 4 right around the corner, some players believe regular doses of weapon balancing are doing more harm than good.

Warzone content creator WhosImmortal even goes as far as saying the current meta is broken due to Raven Software's recent changes to the battle royale.

Warzone Season 3 Meta is "Broken"

In a July 2 upload, the content creator claims the recent increase in health has ruined the meta with the vast majority of weapons needing two or three additional bullets to score an elimination.

The change means only a handful of guns are viable options when it comes to building the best Warzone loadout. In comparison to previous seasons, the lack of weapon diversity is a step in the wrong direction.

WhosImmortal says "there haven't been updates to weapons like this (Non-Vanguard) to make them competitive in 300 health scenarios," which creates a meta that isn't "super diverse."

One suggestion to rectify the problem is to increase magazine sizes on all Cold War and Modern Warfare weapons to improve their viability. In addition, an increase in damage output would benefit.

Alongside those suggestions, the easiest is to apply widespread nerfs to all Vanguard weaponry. However, Raven Software is frequently applying changes to various guns so a complete overhaul this late into the Pacific era is unlikely.
