What Is Nickmercs’ FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout?

The FFAR 1 assault rifle was one of the several new additions to the Warzone arsenal when the entire Black Ops Cold War arsenal was integrated into the battle royale.

Since it made its debut, the rifle quickly gained popularity on multiplayer alongside becoming one of the very best weapons to use in Warzone.

With the FFAR 1 a major part of the Season 2 metagame, popular Warzone streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes he has created the ultimate FFAR 1 loadout to dominate the opposition.

NICKMERCS' FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout

Ever since the controversial DMR 14 tactical rifle receive hefty nerfs, the Warzone metagame has become stable and relatively balanced, with players using a variety of rifles that are all viable in a number of in-game scenarios.

While some pro players and streamers have opted to go for the CR-56 AMAX or the Kilo 141, NICKMERCS has selected the FFAR 1 as his go-to weapon when dropping into Verdansk.

• Agency Suppressor (Muzzle)
• 21.2” Ranger (Barrel)
• Bruiser Grip (Underbarrel)
• Salvo 50 Round Fast Mag (Ammunition)
• Raider Stock (Stock)

While this combination of attachments reduces the overall accuracy of the FFAR 1, it does greatly improve damage and range, making it deadly in nearly every single close-quarters and mid-range engagement.

Its incredible fire rate makes the FFAR 1 a match for any SMG, and with the improved range, it’s a viable secondary weapon for those that use a sniper or marksman rifle.

Is It Good?

As a replacement for an SMG, this fully-equipped FFAR 1 is more than capable of dominating the close-quarters and mid-range metagame.

It can be used as a primary weapon but the lack of performance at extremely long distances lends itself to being the perfect crutch to fall back on if you get up close and personal with an opponent.
