The Famas' reincarnation is taking Verdansk by storm - the FFAR 1 is Warzone's flavour of the month despite receiving a nerf.
Season 3 of Warzone has made some significant changes to the game, including the introduction of a brand-new iteration of Verdansk set in 1984.
At the start of the new season, the FFAR 1 did receive a nerf but it is still proving a popular weapon of choice.
Here is the best loadout for the FFAR 1 in Warzone.
Best FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout
Taking after its predecessor, the FFAR 1 is armed with a ridiculously fast rate of fire for an assault rifle.
The fire rate enables the FFAR 1 to excel at close quarters but the fire rate causes tough-to-handle levels of recoil which is less than ideal when trying to take down a target that is far away.
Unlike its Cold War counterpart, the recoil is far less dramatic, meaning you can rank it up with ease to get the optimum FFAR 1 loadout.
The clear and crisp iron sight opens up an additional attachment slot, enabling plenty of combinations to suit various styles of play.
With a wide range of attachments to select in the Gunsmith, what exactly is the best FFAR 1 loadout for Warzone?
Check out our setup in action in the video below!
This weapon is incredibly strong up close, so being able to rush into busy areas with it is a safe bet.
Use it as an SMG and you'll have people spawning in the Gulag faster than they can ask what attachments you're using!
As it's an assault rifle, you can use it at medium ranges and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Couple it with a sniper rifle and you'll be flying to victory.
FFAR 1 Warzone Best Attachments
- Flashguard 5.56 (Muzzle)
- 19.5" Task Force (Barrel)
- Raider Stock (Stock)
- STANAG 50 Rnd (Ammunition)
- Serpent Wrap (Rear Grip
This attachment combination makes the FFAR 1 arguably one of the most popular weapons to use in Season 3 despite the nerfs.
When under fire from an opponent, it is very easy to be disoriented. The Serpent Wrap provides improvements to mobility, enabling you to duck and dive out of a sticky situation.
The choice of barrel and muzzle improves damage and range, increasing the effectiveness of the FFAR 1 at longer distances.
FEAR THE FFAR - WARZONE'S MOST DEADLY RIFLE?
FFAR 1 Warzone Loadout
- Desperado Pro Compensator (Muzzle)
- Mk1 Extended (Barrel)
- 1mW Laser (Laser)
- 27 Round Mags (Ammunition)
- Match Grade Trigger (Trigger Action)
To further improve the mobility of this loadout, the Renetti pistol is a perfect choice.
Armed with relatively high damage output, it can be a handy tool to strip an opponent of their armour before finishing them off with the fast-firing FFAR 1.
- Frag Grenade (Lethal)
- Flash Grenade (Tactical)
This combination of grenades may be used on a regular basis but that is because it is just so good!
It’s extremely difficult to avoid a frag that has been cooked to perfection and a well-timed flashbang is enough to confuse even the most experienced of players.
- Scavenger (Perk 1)
- Ghost (Perk 2)
- Battle Hardened (Perk 3)
Due to the fast fire rate of the FFAR 1, it is extremely likely that you will go through ammunition like it’s going out of fashion. Scavenger gives you the ability to replenish ammo from fallen players, reducing the likelihood of running out in the latter stages of a game.
Ghost will keep your location concealed from any UAVs while Battle Hardened will boost your resistance to any flash and stun grenades that are likely to be used to halt you on the way to the victory chopper.
Is It Any Good?
The short answer is yes.
Thanks to the deadly rate of fire, ease of control, and incredible damage output, it's no surprise to see that the FFAR is up there as one of the strongest weapons to use in the entirety of Warzone.
Despite the nerfs, I still think that the FFAR will remain as one of the best weapons in Warzone until the next wave of weapon balancing takes place.
