Has Adler Been Brainwashed?
The previous cinematic trailer saw Adler in the hands of Stitch after capturing him at The Pines shopping mall all the way back in Season 2.
The newest trailer shows Woods managing to rescue Adler from Verdansk but just a few seconds later, Stitch states that his "work with him is done," suggesting he may have been brainwashed in a similar way to how Alex Mason was brainwashed back in the first Black Ops title.
The fan theory that seemingly suggested Adler has been brainwashed by Stitch seems to have come true. The trailer also shows brief glimpses of the infamous chair where Mason sat and was repeatedly asked what the numbers meant.
