The Best Kar98k No Glint Warzone Loadout

Season 2 Reloaded for Warzone is well underway and while plenty of attention is on the movements of the Zombies making their way across Verdansk, developer Raven Software continues to make a range of changes and improvements to the popular battle royale.

On April 6th, the developer pushed another update which saw further nerfs to the AUG tactical rifle and the FFAR 1 assault rifle in a bid to diversify the metagame which has been hit with plenty of criticism in recent months.

One change to the battle royale that wasn't mentioned in any patch notes was the omission of scope glint from sniper and marksman rifles making it almost impossible to spot a target.

While this is annoying for those on the receiving end of a precise snipe, the powerful rifles could be coming back into fashion thanks to the change.

Kar98k Marksman Rifle

The Kar98k has often featured in the ever-evolving metagame thanks to its incredible mobility alongside a lethal damage output that often sees players requiring just one well-aimed bullet to down an opponent.

The slow bolt-action of the rifle is one of the very few drawbacks of this powerful rifle that was first used in World War 2. It can be easy to be caught out when reloading the Kar98k but with the right set of attachments, these flaws can quickly disappear.

With plenty of attachments to select in the Gunsmith, what exactly are the best attachments to benefit from the lack of scope glint?

Best Kar98k No Glint Attachments

After a bit of time experimenting with different attachments, here is the best combination to use:

• Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
• Singuard Custom 27.6" (Barrel)
• Tac Laser (Laser)
• Cronen C480 Pro Optic (Optic)
• Focus (Perk)

The combination of suppressor and barrel provides improvements on damage range, allowing the Kar98k to maintain its one-shot capabilities even at the longest of distances.

The choice of optic means that no glint will appear when scoped in, making it extremely difficult for opponents to spot you in darker areas of the map. With no glint, it's extremely easy to take down unsuspecting enemies with just a few bullets.

No Glint Kar98k Warzone Class

After equipping the deadly combination of attachments to the Kar98k, it's important to ensure the rest of the class is able to deal with any situation.

Secondary

MAC-10

• Muzzle Brake 9 (Muzzle)
• 6.5" Rifled (Barrel)
• Tactical Stock (Stock)
• STANAG 53 Rnd Drum (Ammunition)
• Field Agent Grip (Underbarrel)

While the Kar98k dominates at longer distances, it falls short in close-quarters combat which is why we've selected the rapid-fire MAC-10 as our secondary weapon.

The fast rate of fire makes it incredibly easy to outgun any opposition at close-range, making it the perfect accompaniment to the long-range prowess of the Kar98k.

Grenades

• Semtex (Lethal)
• Heartbeat Sensor (Tactical)

It's hard to go wrong with this particular combination of utility. The Semtex is the perfect tool to deal additional damage while the heartbeat sensor is an essential piece of equipment to determine the location of any nearby enemies that could put a premature end to your game.

Perks

• Double Time (Perk 1)
• Overkill (Perk 2)
• Amped (Perk 3)

This combination of Perks is aimed at improving mobility levels.

Double Time provides an increase in the length of tactical sprint while Overkill grants you the ability to use two primary weapons in the same loadout.

Last and by no means least is Amped. The increase in weapon swap speed enables you to react quickly to a target in close proximity or if you spot a player in the distance and need to switch to the Kar98k for an easy kill.
