Warzone Season 3 is here and while a lot of focus is on the release of a brand-new version of Verdansk set in the 1980s, the recently revealed roadmap unveiled a brand-new limited-time event known as the 'Hunt for Adler.'

The event will be similar to other limited-time events that have taken place within the battle royale, with players completing a range of challenges across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone in order to unlock exclusive cosmetic items.

Minimal information on the event has been revealed, but it's likely that it will coincide with the ongoing storyline where Stitch has taken Adler hostage at an undisclosed location in Verdansk.

As mentioned above, neither developer has revealed any details on what the event consists of but looking back at previous Warzone and Cold War crossover events, players will have to complete a variety of challenges in order to unlock exclusive Calling Cards, Emblems, Weapon Charms, and blueprints that are likely to be earned once all challenges have been completed.

Rather than players needing both titles to unlock the final reward, there will be separate challenges for both games, meaning players won't need to play Warzone and Cold War to get their hands on the rewards.
