In a post made by notable leaker @ZestyCODLeaks, there is a possibility of the event being delayed based on a leaked file found within the files of Warzone.

The file named 'mp_don4_reveal_s4' implies that the event could be pushed back as far as the start of Season 4 but the leaker does state that it doesn't confirm that the event has been hit with a delay.

Rather than a delay, they state that it's likely that the event will feature two parts with the first part taking place on April 22nd bringing in the new map.

Leaks should always be taken with a pinch of salt, meaning there's every chance that the event is still on track to take place at the end of Season 2.

The theory of the event featuring two separate parts is certainly interesting. While plenty of information is circulating about the first part as it introduces the new map, there has been no clues as to what the second part could entail.
