Season 2 Reloaded for Warzone is in full swing after update 1.34 went live across all platforms.

Alongside numerous bug fixes and an effort to optimise the immense size of the battle royale, the AUG tactical rifle has finally received a much-needed nerf much to the delight of the community.

While plenty of attention remains on the Zombies making their way across Verdansk, a new leak has suggested that a brand-new Easter-themed event will launch before the undead take full control of the map.

The new event, known as 'Easter Exfiltration' will see players completing a number of challenges to unlock an exclusive blueprint.

According to @ZestyCODLeaks, the Easter Exfiltration event involves players collecting Easter Eggs using an Easter Egg Basket which can be found as a useable item in a number of locations.

Along with the egg-citing task of egg collecting, players will be able to complete 'Holiday Contracts' that will likely function in a similar fashion to standard Warzone contracts.

The leaker also says that there will be a total of 8 Easter-themed weapon blueprints arriving into the battle royale, 7 for Modern Warfare weaponry and 1 for a Cold War weapon.

Warzone Easter Exflitration Event Launch Date

Considering Easter is just around the corner, it's highly likely that the event will begin on April 1st, the day before Easter celebrations begin.

Typically, playlist updates often take place on a Thursday, making April 1st the perfect opportunity to introduce the event into the game.
