Will COD Points Carry Over To Call of Duty Vanguard?

The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard is just one week away, much to the excitement of the community. Activision, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software recently revealed a roadmap for the battle royale. Call of Duty games may have varied on quality over the years but fans have always loved the fact that their Call of Duty points tend to transfer between games.

Will COD Points Carry Over To COD Vanguard?

With the release of Vanguard just a few weeks away, some players are beginning to wonder whether their hard-earned points will transfer over to the next instalment of the franchise.

Currently, if you have Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War linked to the same account, you will be able to share Call of Duty points between the games and purchase whatever cosmetic items you want or the Battle Pass that comes with 100 Tiers of content. The points even transfer to Warzone, though, once again, you will need to connect these games with the same account.

Since this has proven to be a successful method for Activision, it's doubtful that this feature will be removed anytime soon. The fact that these games are released yearly at full-price is a lot for fans so being able to keep their in-game currency would be a great move. If there are any plans to stop points being carried over, they need to be scrapped right away since Call of Duty fans seem to be very loyal.

It will be interesting to see what Vanguard does differently from Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare, though we’re sure that it will still be a first-person shooter with multiplayer and zombie modes.

We understand mixing up the genres of war to make these games more interesting but carrying over points is one of those things you just don’t fix (or break).
