Second Best Vanguard Ranked Player Caught Cheating

Vanguard Ranked Play is a hit amongst players looking to get their competitive Call of Duty fix. With its own ranking system alongside rules used in the Call of Duty League (CDL), the mode provides the perfect alternative to casual matches.

While Warzone features Ricochet anti-cheat, Vanguard players are still waiting for its arrival into multiplayer as they begin to encounter more cheaters during their Ranked Play games.

As the start of Season 3 nears, a player sat in second place on the worldwide Ranked Play leaderboards has been caught using software allowing them to see opponents through walls.

The player known as 'pplehx' was showcasing their skills during a stream and after spawning back into the action, their game froze, revealing red boxes outlining all four opponents. In a bid to cover up their actions, the player questioned why their "game always crashes."

The clip quickly generated plenty of responses from the competitive community. One user began to wonder when anti-cheat would arrive on Vanguard after rumours pointed to its arrival at the start of Season 2 on February 14. Despite the rumours, Sledgehammer Games and Activision have remained silent on when Ricochet will appear within Vanguard multiplayer.

When Will Anti-Cheat Come To Vanguard?

With Season 2 in its final stages, the chances of Ricochet anti-cheat appearing before Season 3 begins are slim. With more cheaters appearing in multiplayer, fans of Vanguard Ranked Play are hoping Sledgehammer Games intervenes before the problem becomes uncontrollable.
