Season 3 of Vanguard goes live today much to the excitement of the community. The new season sees the arrival of the Nikita AVT and the M1916 in addition to the appearance of Mateo Hernandez, the first new Operator.
Season 3 of Vanguard is now underway, meaning Sledgehammer Games' latest release has reached the halfway point of its cycle. Just like the previous seasons, players can earn plenty of brand-new content ranging from the Nikita AVT assault rifle to the latest Operator known as Hernandez.
With plenty of content to master and work through, Season 3 is on course to be Vanguard's best, with multiple changes mentioned in the patch notes all designed to improve player experience.

When Does Vanguard Season 3 Start?
Season 3 started at 5PM BST on April 27.
Vanguard Season 3 Battle Pass
As always, a new season means a brand-new Battle Pass filled with 100 Tiers of brand-new content. Tiers include two brand-new weapons, new Operator skins, plenty of Double XP Tokens, and more.

Vanguard Season 3 Roadmap
The Season 3 roadmap shares details on a selection of new weaponry appearing in multiplayer. In addition, two new multiplayer maps are making their way into the game and judging by their artwork, they're a long way from World War 2. Check out the full roadmap below.
Vanguard Season 3 Trailer
On April 13, the Call of Duty Twitter posted a minute-long trailer showing an all-new task force battling the Nazis on Caldera. When the gunfire stops, they come across an unknown weapon that's expected to play a pivotal role in the current storyline. Check out the full trailer below:
Vanguard Season 3 Maps
Two new maps will appear in Vanguard multiplayer. At launch, a new map known as Mayhem will arrive and later on in the season, another map called Sphere will appear in the map pool.
