Vanguard June 9 Update Patch Notes

With Season 4 of Vanguard right around the corner, players are starting to wonder what Sledgehammer Games has in store for multiplayer and Zombies.

So far, we know the classic Shi No Numa map is returning alongside round-based Zombies but other than that, information on what the next season of post-launch content has in store is unknown.

Before that, Sledgehammer released a small update to Vanguard addressing various issues impacting seasonal challenges and the H4 Blixen submachine gun. With that said, find the Vanguard June 9 patch notes in this article.

Vanguard June 9 Patch Notes

The gold camouflage challenge for the H4 Blixen now adds progression to the Diamond SMG challenge while fixes to Zombies custom reticles mean players will load into a match with a starting weapon.

H4 Blixen

• Unlocking the Gold Completionist camo for the H4 Blixen now contributes to the Submachine Gun Diamond Completionist camo criteria as intended.

Challenges

Seasonal Challenges

• Addressed an issue that prevented the completion of the following challenges in Warzone from being correctly reflected in the Vanguard UI.
  - Hyper Attack
  - Menacing Fire
  - Soldier On

Zombies

Custom Reticles

• Addressed an issue where players utilizing custom reticles in their selected loadout would begin a match without a weapon.

Challenges

• H4 Blixen - Unlocking the Golden Viper Completionist camo for the H4 Blixen now contributes to the Submachine Gun Plague Diamond Completionist camo criteria as intended.

Only a few changes to Vanguard this time around but they will make a wealth of difference in terms of improving Vanguard's quality of life. With Season 4 nearby, there's a high chance this is the final update for Season 3 of Vanguard.
