Shi No Numa Returns In Vanguard Zombies

As the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard draws closer, Treyarch has shed some light on the all-new Zombies mode that will be arriving alongside the campaign and multiplayer. The Zombies developer confirmed that the brand-new experience will take place in the Dark Aether, but is a separate story arc to the first chapter of the story that concluded with the release of Forsaken as part of Black Ops Cold War Season 6.

Known as Der Anfang, which translates as "The Beginning," players will be able to teleport to a number of different locations, including Shi No Numa, a map that first appeared all the way back in the first Black Ops title.

Shi No Numa is one of four locations players can access when playing Der Anfang. Each area will feature a specific objective to complete with a number of rewards that can be obtained through the Altar of Covenants. The mode combines objective-based gameplay that was introduced in Outbreak and combines it with the classic Zombies elements the community has come to enjoy in recent years. In a blog post, Treyarch also revealed that additional locations will be added as the story progresses, opening the door for other classic maps to make their return.

Shi No Numa Return Date

Shi No Numa will be returning as part of Der Anfang, which launches when Vanguard releases on November 5th. It will be interesting to see how hardcore fans react to its return and how the map will play its role in Task Force One's attempt to defeat von List and his undead army.
