Call of Duty Vanguard Field Specialist Challenges: How To Complete and Earn Rewards

Call of Duty Vanguard is packed full of in-game challenges for players to earn some huge XP rewards alongside some exclusive Calling Cards to display next to their name. Alongside the Counter Measures and Grizzled Veteran categories, the Field Specialist category features a range of challenges involving various pieces of equipment that can be used in a loadout.

There are seven Field Specialists to complete in Vanguard multiplayer and considering how easy some of them are, it's a great way to earn some additional XP to level up quickly. Here's a full list of Field Specialist challenges and how to complete them.

How To Complete Field Specialist Challenges

Get 10 Stunned Enemy Eliminations

Using a Stun Grenade, throw it near your intended target to slow their movement before scoring a kill. It's very straightforward and perhaps the easiest 1000 XP you will ever earn.

• Tier 1: 1000 XP
• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'Safety Protocol' Calling Card

Get 10 Kills on Enemies While They Have Radar Active

This challenge relies on your opposition having the skill to score a Spy Plane or Local Informants during a match. Listen out for the announcer to reveal the presence of a radar then eliminate as many enemies as possible before it disappears.

• Tier 1: 1000 XP
• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'Flight Patrol' Calling Card

Kill an Enemy Who Was Recently Affected by A Smoke Grenade 10 Times

This challenge is very easy to complete quickly. Equip a Smoke Grenade as your Tactical and throw it close to a busy Hardpoint hill or Domination flag. Kill anyone that's standing close to it or inside the cloud to earn progress towards the rewards on offer.

• Tier 1: 1000 XP
• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'Grace Under Fire' Calling Card

Get 20 Lethal Kills

Whether it's from a Frag Grenade, Gammon Bomb, or Throwing Knife, all you need to do to complete this challenge is kill players using Lethal equipment. We recommend jumping into some Assault and Blitz matches for a higher chance of killing more players.

• Tier 1: 1000 XP
• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'Rumble The Earth' Calling Card

Activate Your Field Upgrade 20 Times

This challenge is as simple as it gets. Regardless of your Field Upgrade selection, simply use it 20 times for another 1000 XP reward! We recommend Dead Silence so you can get behind enemy lines to cause massive damage to the unsuspecting opposition.

• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'On The Homefront' Calling Card

Kill an Enemy Within 3 Seconds of Using Stim 5 Times

Many players are using Stim in multiplayer to instantly regenerate health whenever they please, so this challenge is another that's relatively straightforward to complete. As soon as you've used your Stim, hunt down an opponent quickly to progress through the challenge.

• Tier 1: 1000 XP
• Tier 2: 1500 XP
• Tier 3: 2500 XP & 'Bombs Bursting' Calling Card

Field Specialist Mastery Challenge

Once the six challenges have been completed, you'll also finish the Field Specialist Mastery challenge which rewards you with the 'Skull Shelling' Calling Card as well as 10,000 XP.
