Within Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer, there is a wide range of challenges that players can complete to earn some additional XP as well as some exclusive Calling Cards to equip. Some challenge categories such as Counter Measures include some easy objectives to complete while others such as Grizzled Veteran, take a bit more time to work through.
The Grizzled Veteran category is all about scoring plenty of kills across several game modes and using a range of different weaponry. How To Complete Grizzled Veteran Challenges
Get 50 Eliminations in Objective Modes
This particular challenge is incredibly straightforward to complete, especially if you play objective modes on a regular basis. Jump into either Patrol, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, or Domination and score kills. Here's a full list of rewards for each tier:
- Tier 1: 1000 XP
- Tier 2: 1500 XP
- Tier 3: 2500 XP
- Tier 4: 3000 XP
- Tier 5: 3500 XP & 'On A Mission' Calling Card
Get 50 Eliminations in Hardcore modes
This challenge is just as straightforward as the objective eliminations. Play any Hardcore game modes and score the kills! By completing the first tier of this challenge, you'll obtain 1000 XP as a reward. Check out the five reward tiers below:

- Tier 2: 1500 XP
- Tier 3: 2500 XP

Get 50 Headshots
Scoring headshots in Vanguard takes a little bit of precision but once you get the hang of it, this challenge is very easy to complete. The first tier rewards 1000 XP. Find the rest of the tiers and rewards below:

Get 25 Killstreak Kills
Vanguard features a range of Killstreaks that can be used to score kills on the opposition. We recommend using the Glide Bomb which guarantees a kill every time you guide one into the map. Tier 1 of this challenge gives out 1000 XP.

Get 50 Secondary Weapon Kills
Scoring kills with a secondary weapon sometimes involves getting up close and personal with the opposition and will take longer than scoring kills with a primary weapon. The first tier rewards 1000 XP.

- Tier 2: 1500 XP
- Tier 3: 2500 XP
- Tier 4: 3000 XP
- Tier 5: 3500 XP & 'Sidearm Slayer' Calling Card
Get 5000 Eliminations
This particular challenge will take some time to complete, especially when the first tier involves scouring 5000 kills. Even though the kill count is high, the first tier only rewards 1000 XP.

Grizzled Veteran Mastery Challenge
Once all of the challenges above have been completed, you'll be rewarded with the exclusive 'Good Vibrations' animated Calling Card along with a huge 10,000 XP reward.
