How to Unlock
The Gracey Auto becomes available when you reach Level 31. Reaching this level shouldn't take too long but if you want to speed up the process, pop a Double XP Token to move through the levels with ease.
The Best Gracey Auto Attachments in Vanguard
Several attachments for the Gracey Auto feature multiple drawbacks impacting its performance but after some testing, we settled on this combination of eight which increases ammo capacity as well as accuracy.
- Muzzle: Suhl 16 Brake
- Barrel: CGC 22" Rapid
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 12 Gauge 7 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Incendiary
- Rear Grip: Rubber Grip
- Proficiency: Frenzy
- Kit: Quick
The 7 Round Mags immediately addresses the small ammo capacity, giving you even more chances to deal devastating damage to the oppositon. This combined with the Incendiary Ammo Type will add more fuel to the fire, making it very easy to follow up with a second shot if the first doesn't do the job.
The rest of the attachments focus on ensuring high levels of accuracy are maintained when firing the Gracey Auto from the hip. On the rare occasion, you may decide to aim down the sights but we recommend firing from the hip in order to achieve the most success.
The Best Gracey Auto Loadout in Vanguard
Once you've sorted the attachments for the Gracey Auto, it's time to look at the rest of the loadout. With close-range combat the only way to succeed, selecting the best Perks for the job alongside suitable Equipment and a Field Upgrade is hugely important in order to maximise mobility and deal some additional damage along the way.
Perks
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Forward Intel
- Perk 3: Lightweight
This Perk combination will enable you to get up close and personal with the opposition with ease. Ninja silences footstep audio which is perfect for sneaking behind enemy lines and blowing their brains out with the shotgun while Forward Intel increases the area of the minimap, allowing you to spot any potential targets easily.
Lightweight is the third and final Perk and perhaps the most useful thanks to the increase in movement speed that it provides. Close-quarters gunfights are often hectic and if you're able to dance around your target, the likelihood of emerging the winner is much higher.
Equipment
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
- Tactical: Stim
The Throwing Knife may not deal the explosive damage of a grenade but its surgical precision allows you to take down another player before they've had a chance to react. If the first shot from the Gracey Auto misses, quickly follow up with the knife to secure the kill.
As you'll be in close proximity to the opposition on a regular basis, Stim is an essential piece of this loadout. When low on health, quickly inject the syringe to regenerate health and get back to running and gunning as fast as possible.
Field Upgrade
- Armor Plates
More often than not, your opponent will be armed with an assault rifle or submachine gun, which is why we've selected Armor Plates as the Field Upgrade. With the ability to absorb plenty of damage before the plates break, it will allow you to move into a position where the Gracey Auto is most effective.
