How to Unlock

The Best Combat Shield Loadout in Vanguard

As there are no attachments to equip onto the Combat Shield, building the best loadout around the weapon is the only way to achieve some kind of success on the battlefield. By selecting the best Perks, Equipment, and Field Upgrade along with a powerful secondary weapon, you may get the opportunity to make an impact.

Secondary Weapon

• MP40

As you'll be wanting to get close to the enemy to make the most of the Combat Shield, the MP40 makes for the perfect weapon to fall back on if there are too many opponents to deal with.

Perks

• Perk 1: Ninja
• Perk 2: Tracker
• Perk 3: Double Time

This Perk combination is perfect to make the most of the Combat Shield. Ninja silences footstep audio while Tracker highlights the footsteps of opponents, making it very easy to find them and beat them down. The third and final perk is Double Time. With an increase in Tactical Sprint length, it's very easy to navigate around the map quickly.
