How To Unlock The Auto-Loading Shotgun
Like the majority of weapons in the Vanguard arsenal, the Auto-Loading Shotgun can be unlocked by levelling up. During the beta, it was available at Level 20 and if nothing has changed since then, players will have to reach that level in order to get their hands on this powerful shotgun.
The Best Auto-Loading Shotgun Attachments in Vanguard
After using the base version of the Auto-Loading Shotgun, it's surprisingly weak in the majority of situations, making attachment selection even more important to avoid scoring hitmarkers on a regular basis. Having experimented with numerous attachment combinations, we settled on this set of eight in order to dominate close-range gunfights.
- Muzzle: M97 Full Choke
- Stock: Ragdoll P-Wire
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 12 Gauge 7 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Incendiary
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
- Proficiency: Discard
- Kit: Quick
This particular combination improves mobility levels alongside accuracy which is essential in order to score more kills rather than just dealing damage. The Stippled Grip, Ragdoll P-Wire, and Quick Kit do wonders to increase movement speed which comes in handy when doing battle with submachine gunners that often have the advantage thanks to a superior rate of fire.
Considering the number of hitmarkers, the standard magazine isn't effective whatsoever so we've opted for the 7-Round Mags to minimise the need to reload and to give you more of a chance to score a kill.

Once the strongest set of attachments have been equipped, it's worth taking a look at the set of Perks, Equipment and Field Upgrade that could provide even more advantages during a match.
Perks
- Perk 1: Survival Training
- Perk 2: Tracker
- Perk 3: Double Time
To evade the stun effects many players heavily rely on in order to secure a simple elimination Survival Training is an essential choice when using the Auto-Loading Shotgun. Tracker is just as useful, highlighting the foosteps of nearby opposition making them very easy to track down. Last and by no means least is Double Time, which doubles the length of Tactical Sprint.

- Lethal: MK2 Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Stim
This trusty combination of equipment is one of the most versatile to use in the entire game. Throw a well-cooked grenade to weaken an opponent before finishing them off with the shotgun but if they still have some fight left in them and deal some damage of their own, quickly pop the Stim to instantly regenerate health.
