Season 6 of Black Ops Cold War begins slightly earlier than Warzone, giving players the perfect chance to experience most of the new content before players of the battle royale get their hands on it. The new season will get underway on October 5th at 9PM PT (October 6th at 5AM BST).

The process of preloading the update is incredibly straightforward. A few days before the new season begins, it should begin to download automatically but if it doesn't, it is possible to start it manually by selecting a "Check for Update" option on your respective platform.
