Black Ops Cold War Update Spotted in PlayStation Database

Since the launch of Vanguard, Treyarch's Black Ops Cold War has remained dormant following six seasons of post-launch content for multiplayer and Zombies modes. With the developer collaborating with Sledgehammer Games to develop Vanguard Zombies and Ranked Play, fans of Cold War weren't expecting many new updates to arrive.

The game launched back in 2020 and despite the lack of content available, the game is a solid addition to the Black Ops universe that is rumoured to expand further in 2023.

It appears that Treyarch's latest release will receive a brand-new update, much to the excitement of those still playing.

The update is the first of 2022, following on from the December 6, 2021 patch which included a range of new content in the Prestige Shop.
