Battlefield 2042 PC Requirements: Can You Run DICE's Latest Shooter?

Battlefield 2042 is looking to be the biggest game in the franchise, giving us a futuristic setting and promising cross-play between 128 players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Along with all kinds of graphical upgrades, players will want to know what the game's PC specs and system requirements are.

There's a whole lot of extra graphical firepower needed for Battlefield 2042. In addition to dynamic weather events that can cause sandstorms and typhoons, EA and Ripple Effect have also revealed Battlefield Portal, which lets players make their own custom games with assets from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.

Now that Battlefield 2042's release date is coming up, EA and Ripple Effect have revealed the Battlefield 2042 PC Requirements in anticipation of the game's full launch. Here's what you'll need in order to run the game.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
• OS: 64-bit Windows 10
• Processor (AMD): AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• Processor (Intel): Intel Core i5 6600K
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 560,Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
• DirectX: Version 12
• Network: Broadband Internet connection
• Storage: 100 GB available space

Recommended Requirements:

• Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
• OS: 64-bit Windows 10
• Processor (AMD): AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
• Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
• DirectX: Version 12
• Network: Broadband Internet connection
• Storage: 100 GB available space

100 GB of free space is pretty hefty, and we'd recommend you keep more space clear on top of that for future updates and patches, but hopefully the game will be a brilliant success and be well worth that hard drive space.

Battlefield 2042 will be coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 19.
