The first Assassin's Creed Valhalla one handed sword is here at last, and it's fairly easy to get. You'll need to take part in the latest update's new festivities and shell out some in-game currency to get it, but the one handed sword is very much worth your effort.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla One Handed Sword | How to Get Skrofnung
The Assassin's Creed Valhalla Sigrblot festival runs from July 29 through August 19, and it's where you'll get both a taste of one-handed sword combat and a chance to get the Assassin's Creed Valhalla one handed sword Skrofnung.
Taking part in the Sigrblot festival's Test of Metal activity is a good way to go hands-on with the hands-off sword. It's a tournament of sorts where you face off against a series of opponents using limited weapons.
Skrofnung is one of those, but you can't take it with you. You can, however, pay 300 festival tokens at Norvid's shop to make Skrofnung your very own.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla One Handed Sword | How to get festival tokens during Sigrblot
The game gives out festival tokens for completing activities related to the celebrations, including the Test of Metal. You can also complete quests from attendees if you come up short on tokens, but it's easy to get the necessary 300 for Skrofnung.
The sword is yours to keep once you've bought it. However, Ubisoft hasn't mentioned how you can get the sword after the festival.
Presumably, the Siege of Paris - which releases before Sigrblot ends - will introduce new one-handed swords as well.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla One Handed Sword | Are One Handed Swords Good
Yes, at least this one is. Skrofnung is fast and efficient, with a unique set of moves that, if nothing else, is a solid way to shake up combat after months of using the same weapon types.
