Next Assassin's Creed Update Releases Soon with Level Scaling and More

The next Assassin's Creed Valhalla update is July 27, Ubisoft announced on Twitter. The update is set to add new scalable difficulty modes plus at least one other unannounced feature.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla level scaling comes in five options. The first couple are standard options: Off and Default.

Then there's Constant, Hard, and Nightmarish depending on the level of difficulty you want, and you can scale these depending on the area.

While it's highly unlikely the new Assassin's Creed Valhalla update will add Siege of Paris, there could be another much-anticipated new feature making its way to the game.

While Ubisoft hasn't officially announced it yet, rumors point to one-handed swords coming to the game soon.

Previous updates also added new missions and other quality of life improvements, so it would make sense if Ubisoft snuck something like one-handed swords in this update too.

Then again, it might be added as part of the Siege of Paris update.

So far, there's no word yet on when the patch goes live or what the file size will be when it does.
