Season 2026 Act 2 of Valorant is coming soon, which means a new batch of additions is coming to the popular shooter. Now that VCT Masters Santiago is over, most of the new content has already been showcased.

To help you prepare and get up to speed before the new act kicks off, here is a summary of all the new content.

When Does Valorant Season 2026 Act 2 Start?

Season 2026 Act 2 of Valorant is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, March 18, or Thursday, March 19, depending on your region.

The act will start on Wednesday at 6:00 AM PT for all users playing on the North America, LATAM, and Brazil servers. European players will wait a bit longer, as it starts on Thursday, at around 4:00 AM GMT.

Patch 12.05, which brings all the new content, will go live 24 hours before the act begins in each region, on Tuesday, March 17, and Wednesday, March 18.

New Agent: Miks

After several teasers and leaks, Miks has been revealed as the 30th playable character coming to Valorant. He is from Croatia and has rhythm-related abilities, introducing interesting new dynamics to the game.

New Mode: Knockout

A brand-new mode titled Knockout will be added when the new patch goes live. This is a new round-based TDM variant, where the objective is to eliminate the other team, but each time someone gets a kill, one of their teammates is revived.

The mode can be played on all of the TDM maps, and the guns are divided into four stages. Stage 1 weapons are always unlocked, but stages 2, 3, and 4 are available one at a time as the game rounds progress.
