Battlefield 6 continues to dominate the FPS scene after it became the best-selling game of 2025, and developers are looking to retain player interest as much as possible through post-launch content.
Season 1 is currently halfway through its second phase, delivering new maps, modes, weapons, vehicles, and much more. However, the influx of fresh content doesn’t stop there. It has been confirmed that a new Character Skin, Background, and Icon will arrive soon, with all three items available to unlock for free!

How to Get BF6 Character Skin, Background, and Icon
An official in-game message has revealed that a Character Skin, Background, and Icon will become available to unlock via three new challenges, which are set to be added to Battlefield 6 in the coming days.
The objective of all three challenges remains unknown at this stage, but players will need to complete them in any Battlefield 6 or REDSEC mode to get their hands on the items.
Additionally, designs for the Character Skin, Background, and Icon are yet to be disclosed.
When Do the New BF6 Challenges Arrive?
The three new challenges will be available to complete across Battlefield 6 starting December 2.
It is currently unknown whether they will only be available for a limited time or remain active for a prolonged period.
Players will need to check their challenges tab from the date stated above to see what’s required for each assignment.
