The Battlefield 6 open beta has become a hot topic amongst gamers, as everyone has been impressed with this title’s destruction and controls thus far. Many have agreed that this is a huge step up from the disastrous BF 2042, with Call of Duty having some steep competition this year.
How steep exactly? Apparently, the slots for this game’s open beta are now full, showing how excited everyone is to try this shooter out.
An X post from Battlefield Bulletin confirmed that the servers for this open beta were able to fill 15,600 players. What’s crazy about this is that the beta doesn’t start until August 7, meaning that players are just waiting around for this demo to start. It shows just how anticipated this title is, especially since this entry is going back to its roots.
We’re sure some fans are disappointed that they won’t be able to access the Battlefield 6 open beta for a while. Players will inevitably drop out, so everyone does have a chance to try this shooter in the next few days. That doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy, as we assume players will be skipping work and school just to try this shooter out.

It seems that hype for this entry is at an all-time high, given how all of these players are flocking to the shooter. Considering how trendy this shooter has been, we wouldn’t be too surprised if the game ends up outselling this year’s Call of Duty. That’s going to be a tall task, given how Activision’s series has been a sales juggernaut, but this entry could change everything.
Now that EA has learned from its mistakes with the previous games, we’re interested in seeing just how Battlefield 6 is going to do. This entry will have a single-player campaign, extensive multiplayer, and even a battle royale. Let’s hope all of these elements lead to a great game in the end.
