A Full Breakdown of Battlefield 6's Pre-Order Content

Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6

The wait ends October 10, 2025, when Battlefield 6 drops on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

It marks the first entry since Battlefield 2042, which struggled to win over fans, and EA is clearly working hard to restore faith in the franchise.

Alongside gameplay reveals and beta weekends, the publisher has outlined a range of pre-order bonuses to encourage players to secure their copy early.

Depending on whether you pick the Standard Edition or the premium Phantom Edition, you’ll get a different set of exclusive rewards.

What Comes With the Standard Edition?

Anyone who pre-orders this edition ahead of launch will automatically receive the Tombstone Pack, a bundle of cosmetic items themed around soldier identity and customization.

The Standard Edition comes in at $69.99, and thankfully, EA has resisted the industry trend of pushing the price higher for a big franchise release.

The Tombstone Pack includes the Gravedigger soldier skin and the Fallen Heroes player card. You’ll unlock the Bandolier charm, the Express Delivery sticker, and the Hatchet L110 bundle to expand your weapon customization.

The set also comes with the Doomsayer soldier patch and the Tombstone XP Boost, which grants faster progression early on. Most of these bonuses are purely cosmetic, so the pre-order package won’t unbalance the game with stronger weapons or tactical perks.

What Does the Phantom Edition Include?

For those willing to spend more, the Phantom Edition is priced at $99.99 and bundles the Standard Edition plus a large collection of extras.

Just as in the Standard Edition, the Tombstone Pack is included, but this version also brings more cosmetics and progression boosts for soldiers, weapons, and vehicles.

One of the biggest draws here is the Battlefield Pro Token, which immediately unlocks the Battle Pass along with 25 tier skips, letting players jump ahead in seasonal progression.

It also grants access to the Phantom Squad, a set of four exclusive soldier skins named Crossbones, Mirage, Specter, and Wraith.

Alongside soldiers, the Phantom Edition includes weapon bundles such as Shrouded and Drop Shadow, as well as the Glimmer knife skin.

Vehicle players aren’t left out either, with the Chimera skin available to deck out tanks. Completing the set are cosmetics like the Death’s Head weapon sticker, the Cryptic charm, and the Operative dog tag.

To top it all off, a Phantom XP Boost set ensures faster overall progression. It’s targeted at Battlefield diehards who want extra cosmetics while also gaining an advantage in rewards and progression.

What About the Open Beta?

In addition to pre-order content, EA also organized two open beta weekends in August 2025, which have already finished.

The tests ran across all platforms, giving EA a chance to stress-test servers while players tried destruction, vehicles, and classes for the first time.

The beta mainly focused on gathering feedback, but players could also unlock cosmetics that carry over to the full game. The choice between the Standard and Phantom Editions comes down to what you value most.

Publishers have long leaned on pre-order perks to lock in sales, but Battlefield 6 uses them mainly to give early players skins and XP shortcuts without upsetting gameplay balance.
