When is ARK: Genesis Part 2 coming out?

ARK: Genesis Part 2 will be the last DLC expansion pack for the 2017 action/survival game ARK: Survival Evolved by Studio Wildcard in collaboration with Instinct Games, Efecto Studios, and Virtual Basement.

The upcoming DLC was first announced last November 2020. But now, fans wonder when it will be released since Genesis Part 2 would be the game’s ‘final hurrah’ before possibly focusing on a rumored sequel to ARK.

ARK: Genesis Part 2 Release Date

For a long while, we'd had no announcements about Genesis Part 2’s official release date, and the DLC expansion pack’s official trailer on YouTube was posted almost 6 months ago. However, it's now been confirmed that Part 2 launches on June 2, and you can find further details here.

As seen on the trailer above, the story of ARK: Genesis Part 2 will be taking place in a colony ship. It will introduce a variety of new content for players, including four new biomes, and new creatures such as Maewing, the platypus-like monster, and Noglin, a bioluminescent creature that has pointed ears and a split jaw.
