How To Tame Shadowmane In Ark Genesis Part 2 DLC
One dinosaur fans have been looking to tame is the Shadowmane, a carnivore that can be a bit tough to fight, though players will be happy to know that they won’t have to choose violence to win it over.
Believe it or not, the meat-eating Shadowmane can be tamed in a rather peaceful method so players need to put down their trigger finger for a minute so they can bring this good boy or girl to their base.
In order to recruit the Shadowmane in Ark: Genesis part 2, make sure to have a full Fish Basket with any fish that is 0.5 weight or more.
After having enough fish, make sure to approach the Shadowmane during the middle of the day since that’s when they start resting.
When you’ve managed to track a resting Shadowmane down, quietly approach the dinosaur, make sure the Fish Basket is in the last slot of your hotbar, and feed it.
Upon eating a fish, the Shadowmane will teleport so track it down and repeat the process a few more times and it will eventually join you.
