How To Find Mutagel And Mutagen In Ark Genesis Part 2 DLC

Ark: Genesis Part 2 is finally available and will be acting as the final expansion as we all wait for Ark: Survival Evolved 2 featuring Vin Diesel, so that means one last hoorah by hunting for all the dinos and materials.

Granted, sequels take a while so there’s a good chance that we won’t see Ark 2 featuring Vin Diesel anytime soon so this “last hoorah” of dinosaur hunting and material gathering will probably take a while.

How To Find Mutagel And Mutagen In Ark Genesis Part 2 DLC

Speaking of material hunting, items that have gained importance in Ark: Genesis Part 2 include the Mutagel and Mutagen.

Mutagel is an item needed to progress through the game’s story as players need it to improve the stats of their dinosaurs that aren’t bred.

Players will need to find Mutagens so they can make Mutagel, and a lot of it too but, thankfully, this isn’t the hardest item to find in the game.

Head over to the space area in Ark: Genesis Part 2 and try to find the orange/golden covered rocks, which usually have Mutagen for Mutagel making.

Make sure you have a pickaxe so you can destroy these rocks easily, nailing you some of that Mutagen. Players will need 800 Mutagen to make 1 Mutagel though so keep finding those rocks.

One other way for players to get Mutagel in Ark: Genesis Part 2 is going to Rockwell’s Innards biome, where you can find Mutagel from a Mutagen Plant.

This will summon some monsters for you to fight so go in with some weapons.
