Apex Legends Prowler PDW review

The Prowler is an SMG, but there's something that feels a little bit strange about using a burst SMG. When you're using the Prowler, your movement isn't impacted as it is with other weapons. This means it's great to use when you're running from area to area.

However, as you’re firing in bursts, you’ll need to be mindful that you only get four bursts without an extended mag. If you're caught in a small area with another squad, then the burst setting could make you an easy target. That being said, if you pair it with another weapon that has a fast fire rate, then the Prowler is still a very good gun.

The Prowler SMG is just one of many SMGs available in Apex Legends but if you're interested in seeing what else the arsenal offers in Season 17, take a look at our Apex Legends weapon tier list showcasing the best weapons to use in the battle royale.
