Apex Legends Season 4 is here, and players have been loving the new content so far.
While the Sentinel may be the new sniper rifle on the block, our favourite sniper rifle is the Longbow DMR.
Absolutely devastating from long range, it lacks the power of the Kraber but is much easier to handle – since it doesn’t require de-scoping.
Here's our guide to using the Longbow DMR.
Where to Find The Longbow
The Longbow can be found out and about on the battlefield – usually (but not limited to) in high and mid-rank loot areas.
You can also find it in weapon racks on World’s Edge’s Survey Camp point of interest.

What Attachments And Ammo Does It Take?
The Longbow can accept Holo, HCOG, Variable Holo, Sniper, Variable AOG, Variable Sniper and the legendary Digital Sniper Threat scopes.
You’d be surprised at how handy the gun can be at mid-range, so don’t be afraid to use a basic Holo scope on it.
Elsewhere, you can kit it out with an extended heavy mag, a sniper stock, and a barrel stabilizer. Grab all three and you’ll be ideally placed to deal damage from range.

Longbow DMR Tips And Tricks
The Longbow DMR might be best at long range, but as we’ve already noted it can do a job up close. It won’t replace your shotgun, but with accurate hip fire, it could get you out of a pinch.
The damage per shot is good enough, but like the Kraber it can over-penetrate enemies which gives you an opportunity to tear enemies to shreds if they bunch together.
While it has a low rate of fire, it’s still much more forgiving than the Kraber and the fact you can find it on the battlefield makes it a more reliable late-game option.
