Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise Is New Horizons' Only Paid DLC


Animal Crossing: New Horizons isn't slowing down just yet with new content. Having previously confirmed the Happy Home Paradise expansion last month, Nintendo's now revealed it'll be the game’s "first and only" paid DLC.

Speaking to IGN, a Nintendo spokesperson offered more details regarding Happy Home Paradise. Being a "major update" that "offers a distinguishing and different gameplay experience" to the game, this spokesperson confirmed "it made sense to include it as the first and only paid DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons."

Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Happy Home Paradise Is Confirmed To Be The Game's First And Only Paid DLC

With Happy Home Paradise DLC releasing on November 5th, another major content is also planned for the same day, Version 2.0. Marking New Horizons 'final major free content update,' this introduces new features like the return of Brewster and the Roost, Cooking in the DIY recipes, and more.
