While we've all been waiting for New Horizons' next update, photos of an Animal Crossing Monopoly set have just emerged online. As posted on the Animal Crossing subreddit by u/calysunflower, this revolves around New Horizons' premise of visiting islands, collecting resources and earning Nook Miles.
As part of the photos, calysunflower showed both sides of the Monopoly box, the board itself, four Villager avatars to pick from, a wide set of tokens, and a barcode to prove authenticity.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Monopoly Photos Surface Online
While this remains officially unconfirmed, this new Monopoly variant certainly looks like the genuine article, and you can view that below. Previously, Hasbro's covered Pokémon, Mario Kart, Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and a more general Nintendo set, so it's not unlikely to believe Animal Crossing could join the ranks.
As for New Horizons itself, it's been quiet recently with Nintendo's latest entry. While they've confirmed further plans are coming for their hit life simulator, we've not had a new update since April, leaving fans with little idea on when to expect Animal Crossing's next update.
