Nintendo's just announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons' latest free update is due to go live later this week. Sadly, this isn't the Version 2.0 update many were hoping for, instead bringing us Version 1.10.

With it, several events we'd previously seen are back, but we've got a few new items too. As usual, seasonal changes mean we'll be seeing different bugs and fish too.

For fans of this life simulator, here's everything you need to know about Version 1.10.

Animal Crossing 1.10 Release Date

Version 1.10 has now launched, so can you download it straight away.

Animal Crossing 1.10 New Items

As always, there's a new range of seasonal items available throughout May and June. Nintendo's confirmed this will include a selection of items based around Mother's Day, Children's Day, Cheese Rolling, and they've released these two images.

Animal Crossing 1.10 May Day

Much like last year, May Day is back between April 29-May 7. You'll need a May Day Ticket and this time around, Rover's found a new spot to hide in. There's also a brand new maze to explore, and you can find more details here.

Animal Crossing 1.10 International Museum Day

Between May 18-May 31, Blathers is hosting New Horizons' second International Museum Day. He'll be overseeing a Stamp Rally, giving you a special stamp card for participating in this event, all from viewing fish, insects, fossils, and art. This will provide Museum Plaques, along with a Special Stamp Car, for participating in the event.

Animal Crossing 1.10 Wedding Season

Also returning is Wedding Season, which takes place across the whole of June. Celebrating Reese and Cyrus' anniversary this month, you can take wedding photos on Harvey's Island. Across this month, you'll be able to purchase wedding season-themed furniture and clothing, available between the Able Sisters and Nook Shopping.

Alongside the free update content, Flick's returning back to the Plaza for the monthly Bug Off. He can be found near Resident Services and will be about on June 26th, July 24th, August 28th and September 25th. These events earn points that can be traded for special items. Better yet, there's also the next Fishing Tourney with CJ on July 10th too.
