When you launch Age of Empires 4 for the first time, you'll notice that UI Narration is automatically enabled. This is to ensure that the game is accessible for all types of players, but if you need to turn it off (or on again, for that matter), then here's how.

From the Age of Empires 4 main menu (or the escape menu while in-game), navigate to the tool icon and open your settings. Then, as follows:

  • Click 'Accessibility'.
  • Scroll to the bottom to find 'UI Narration'.
  • From here, you can toggle the element on and off.

It's as easy as that! However, if you don't know where to look or what exactly that narrator's voice falls under, it can be easy to miss. Now you know everything you need to about toggling UI Narration on and off, we recommend checking out some other basics to help get you all set up before commandeering your empire and marching into battle.
