While most of us see our game consoles as, well, game consoles, the developers of these game systems have been trying their hardest to make them multimedia entertainment systems, especially Microsoft.

Thankfully, things are better on the Sony and Microsoft side, as both studios have managed to balance the entertainment and gaming side, focusing more on the latter, while the former is more of a side attraction.
Due to this balance, certain streaming services are readily available on these consoles like Netflix and Amazon Prime, among others.
Because of this, many have wondered if the My5 app is available on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X since it can be viewed on the PS4 and PS5.
Sadly, the My5 app was available on Xbox platforms but isn’t anymore as of 2018, which is pretty disappointing since fans would love to watch Pawn Stars or WW2 Treasure Hunters on these systems.
It’s a shame that this kind of imbalance can happen on gaming platforms when it’s something not game-related but what can we do?
When asked about My5 being removed from the Xbox line of consoles, Channel 5 said they did it to maximize the app’s support on other systems, which is a baffling answer but that’s what most people expected.
