Microsoft's FPS Boost technology which improves framerates for backwards compatible titles when played on Xbox Series S/X consoles is being rolled out to a series of EA games.
The technique, which Microsoft announced back in February and has since supplemented with a handful of Bethesda titles, will add up to 120hz support for the likes of Battlefield V, Star Wars Battlefront II, and Titanfall 2.

Microsoft Brings Xbox Series X FPS Boost To Select EA Games
The following games will gain 120hz support:
Xbox Series X Only
- Battlefield 1
- Battlefield V
- Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- Titanfall
Xbox Series X/S
- Battlefield 4
- Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
- Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
- Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Star Wars Battlefront
- Titanfall 2
- Unravel 2
Additionally, Sea of Solitude will now have 60hz support on both platforms.
