Warframe Harrow Guide - How to Obtain, Craft, and Best Builds

The dark priest Harrow is the center at one of the best quests of the game and the scariest one by far. This warframe brings a lot of self-sufficiency to the table but also great potential as support in any team, making it not only a very versatile character but also a useful one.

Harrow Overview and Best Weapon Options

A warframe with great synergy in his abilities, Harrow isn’t a warframe to use until later in the game, since the concept behind his abilities involves a deeper understanding of the game’s mechanics. However, once you’re accustomed to it, he’s one of the best warframes to tackle any kind of missions, and a very fun one to play.

Abilities

Harrow possesses 200% Overshields capacity, granting him a maximum of 2,400 Overshields.

Recommended Weapons
I will talk about how this weapon loadout needs to be specifically tailored for Harrow’s build in the explanation below. For now, all you need to know it’s that you need to equip a Shotgun, any Secondary weapon, and a fast Melee. Vaykor Hek, Akstiletto, and Guan Dao will serve that purpose, and of course, if you can afford the Prime versions, the better. Use as many Forma on them as you see fit to achieve the desired build, and you'll be good to go!

So, since Harrow’s abilities work as a whole thing instead of separated skills, you need to pay attention to his gameplay, which involves his weapons more than probably any other warframe. The idea is to boost HP, Shields, Energy, and Casting Speed since your abilities are inherently related to these stats in some way and add Brief Respite + Rolling Guard for some comfort in later stages of the game, especially useful after using Penance. The rest is simply focusing on Strength and Duration, try to not get too many negative stats doing that and you’ll be fine.

First of all, Condemn will give you the shields that you will spend and deplete on Penance, boosting you enough to destroy everything using your Primary weapon, regenerating your HP as you inflict damage. For this, hard-hitter weapons like shotguns are recommended, since the fire rate and reload speed boost will make them shine. This ability is also a great tool for Crowd Control.

Whenever you need more energy, cast Thurible until you’re comfortable with the Energy regeneration rate, and remember to use a melee weapon after this ability. Since you will have a slower weapon as primary, you want to use a faster one to recover energy using this ability. Polearms or Nunchakus are highly recommended.

Last but not least, Covenant will both protect you from harm and boost your Critical Chance, which can save you in tight situations where otherwise you would be in a bad situation. For dramatically better results, replace the mods in this setup with their Prime or Umbral versions.
