Dignitas Announce Verizon VCT Game Changers Featuring the Top 32 Women's Valorant Teams


Dignitas has announced the next Valorant Championship Tour: Game Changers event, where the top teams in the female Valorant scene get the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills for a chance to win a portion of the $50,000 prize pool.

Presented by Dignitas, VCT Game Changers sees continued support from Verizon and Nerd Street Gamers.

In addition to these partners, Dignitas will be working with the Galorants all-female discord community, as well as twitch for this event.

Tournament Overview

"VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Game Changers is a year-long program with the goal of creating new opportunities and exposure for women and marginalized genders seeking to participate in VALORANT esports, through a combination of community events and top-tier competition."

The event will kick off with a double GSL open qualifier on June 19-20 and a double-elimination main event on June 24-27.

Out of the 32 Teams, eight will advance from the open qualifiers into the main event. The main event will feature best-of-three games until the grand final where a best-of-five will be played to crown a champion.

How to compete

Participants must sign up through the Nerd Street Gamers website and will need to be a verified members of the Galorants Discord community.

The Deadline to register is Saturday 12th of June, or as soon as the 32 team cap is reached.

Where to watch

Both open qualifiers and the main event will be exclusively streamed on Twitch, and there will be a number of ways to watch.

Dignitas influencers starsmitten, artStar, Herculsye, and sapphiRe, will be the main co-streamers of the event on their personal Twitch channels narrating the games and hosting giveaways for their communities.
