The Entertainment Software Rating Board has recently revealed the rating for The Ascent on both PlayStation consoles. With this confirmation, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game are definitely coming soon. As seen on the ESRB site as Gematsu reports, The Ascent has been rated for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. At best, this rating is an approval that the game is for release on that specific console. However, we've yet to hear any release date or release window from the developers, Neon Giant Games, and Sony.

The Ascent PS4, PS5 Release Practically Confirmed After ESRB Rating Spotted
As of now, The Ascent is currently available on the PC and the Xbox consoles. The game has been hotly requested for the PlayStation console and the developers have heard the calls to make the PlayStation version. The game is a top-down adventure shooter where players can go solo or group up together in a cyberpunk dystopia.
For now, we'll have to wait for Sony and Neon Giant Games to announce the release date of The Ascent to finally start playing this game, but we dount an announcement is far away.
