Does The Black Shark 5 Have A Global Release Date?

The Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro were recently launched in China, however, at the time of writing, there is currently no indication whether or not these phones will be released globally.

Xiaomi's latest flagship phone, the Xiaomi 12 was initially launched in China in December and released globally on 15 March.

Similarly, the Black Shark 4 came to the UK roughly two months after its initial launch in China.

We're therefore hoping that the Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro will follow suit and receive a global launch, although this is likely still a few months away.

We'll be sure to keep you updated as soon as a confirmed release date has been announced.

Currently, the Black Shark 5 starts at CNY 2,799 (roughly $441) while the Black Shark 5 Pro has a starting price of CNY 4,199 (around $662).

While these aren't likely to be the official prices at the global launch, they can give us a good indication as to how much the phones are expected to cost.
