5 Star Wars games currently under development

There are already plenty of Star Wars games in development. While Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is already done, other Star Wars games are still being developed as this article is written. Based on leaks and tweets, I have identified five games that will come out within the next few years.

To avoid appearing crazy, I arranged the list from most information to most minor information. Thank goodness, Star Wars isn't exclusively owned by EA anymore. This means more studios can take on the franchise. Here's hoping LucasFilm Games can take over the games they were once so good at developing.

If I could change the ending, I would.

The most obvious item on the list, so that's why it's first. As well as contributing to the Star Wars lore, Star Wars: Fallen Order tried not to change the movie's storyline. A majority of Star Wars fans adore this game.

A sequel will come out because when EA has a successful series, it can't milk; they make a sequel. We all have our own lists of things we'd like the sequel to accomplish, but the game's ending is incredibly ambiguous. All we know is that anything is possible except restoring the Jedi Order. (BOOOOOO!!!)

This map needs to be a staple

EA can deny it all they want, this game is coming, and everyone knows it. For some reason (money), EA and Ubisoft keep driving the narrative that games do not require new installments but instead paid additions. Fortunately, it's not up to EA, and Disney will undoubtedly give the franchise to someone else if EA doesn't want to keep adding installments.

In 2019 and 2020, EA still denied the game to be in development. There haven't been any significant DLC updates to the game in many years, which means EA isn't making as much money as possible. Following the EA logic, it's safe to assume the studio is working quietly on a sequel.

Highly hyped

Although this game is likely, it is not as probable as the above two. Aspyr is developing the game, and many outlets are reporting that a remake is in the works. All of the evidence suggests that this game is, in fact, in development, so I'll treat it as accurate.

It's expected that this one will be released in 2023, but we can always hope for an earlier release.

The Mandalorian

Besides the possibility that it will be an Xbox exclusive, we do not know much about this game. The game is still in the early stages of development, according to industry insider Nick @Shpeshal_Nick Baker. It is unclear what the game will include or if the Mandalorian from the Disney Plus show will be involved.

This was revealed simultaneously with the next entry.

We know very little about this game except that Zenimax Online may be behind it. Since Star Wars High Republic books have only recently started coming out, Zenimax Online can do a lot with its lore. We can assume that since Zenimax Online is developing the game, it will compete with The Old Republic.
