Rainbow Six Siege keeps growing, and its Operator count currently stands at a staggering 60 playable characters.

To unlock those, you'll need to stump up cash, or grind out Renown, the game's other currency. Operators become cheaper as newer ones are added to the game, but there's never a bad time to start earning more.

Rainbow Six Siege: What Is Renown?

Renown is a currency earned through playing Siege, and you can use it to buy attachments and customisation items for characters you've already unlocked or to unlock fresh new characters to build out your roster of Operators.

You'll earn some Renown for completing multiplayer matches, but there are other ways you can build up a stockpile.

Situations, the game's tutorial/single-player missions, can be completed for Renown, and each additional star earned for your performance can get you a bonus 200 Renown.

Terrorist Hunt matches, a great PvE activity, will also award Renown, while there are a series of Daily Challenges that'll earn you between 250 and 300 Renown when completed.

Rainbow Six Siege: How To Get Renown Boosters

If you want to expedite the rate you accrue Renown, then Boosters are available. These come in 1 Day, 3 Day, 7 Day, 30 Day and 90 Day versions, and they'll cost you real money.

However, you can snag some for free. Ubisoft Club, the publisher's rewards program not only offers occasional challenges to earn Renown, but also releases Renown Boosters as an added incentive.

You can also occasionally get Renown Boosters, alongside character skins and items, through Amazon's Prime Gaming service which is free to Prime Subscribers.
