New Pokémon Snap Update Includes Quality Of Life Adjustments

New Pokémon Snap got a surprise DLC announcement last week. Following news that three new areas are being added in a free update - Florio Island Nature Park, Mightywide River, and Barren Badlands, with both day and night variants - alongside 20 new Pokémon, we've now seen a few other adjustments.

Launching later today, several quality of life improvements have been implemented too by Bandai Namco. Presently, four tweaks are confirmed (as noted by Serebii), though more could become clear when that update launches.

New Pokémon Snap Update Includes Quality Of Life Adjustments

Here's what Snap fans can expect later today:

  • Now, when you go to Retry a level after completion, you will get to select the Research Level again so you don't have to exit out in order to select the same stage with a different Research Level.
  • You now have the ability to go directly to camp without having any photos assessed.
  • If you achieve a LenTalk Mission with one of your photos, they will get flagged as meeting the requirements before you get it assessed.
  • You can now directly save images onto your Nintendo Switch directly from the photo editing option.

It's a welcome addition to an already enticing update and if there's any further developments for New Pokémon Snap, we'll be certain to keep you updated. For now though, we're content taking photos of Snorlax and Psyduck.
