Pokemon GO: How To Catch Galarian Zigzagoon and Obstagoon

Galarian Zigzagoon is an elusive Pokemon for many Pokemon GO players, and it's among a very small pool of Galarian forms that can be obtained.

So far, it hasn't been very easy to obtain any Galarian forms in the game. Some include Sir Fetch'd, Meowth, and of course Zigzagoon. They are fairly rare in comparison to other Pokemon in the game, mainly because they aren't typically caught through typical means.

Galarian Zigzagoon, which evolves into Linoone and Obstagoon, has had different ways to catch it in Pokemon GO. In the past, one method included 3 out of 5 games in the Pokemon GO Battle League. Luckily enough, Obstagoon is a fantastic pick in PVP battles.

While Galarian Obstagoon may not be in the PVP catch list anymore, there is no better time to catch one. While Luminous Legends Y is live, Galarian Zigzagoon can be caught by completing tasks in various forms. Those forms may include the timed research for the event, field research tasks, and AR mapping tasks. Upon completion, Galarian Zigzagoon may appear in an encounter.

Next week, Galarian Zigzagoon will also be appearing in one-star raids. It is part of the bonuses that the community unlocked for completed the Team GO Rocket challenge together.

On top of Galarian Zigzagoon appearing in raids, players will also have the chance to encounter a shiny form. Even after Luminous Legends Y is over, Galarian Zigzagoon will continue to have a chance for a shiny form in Pokemon GO.
