Pokemon is always adding dozens of unique new designs to their roster with every new generation. With the Pokemon Go Horizons: The Series Celebration event, some Pokemon are a lot easier to find, including Quaxly. Let's go over Quaxly and Shiny Quaxly in Pokemon Go.

Quaxly is a Water-type Pokemon that resembles a newly hatched duckling. Quaxly is well known by Gen 9 players as it is the starter Water Pokemon for the Paldea region. Let's go over how to catch Quaxly Pokemon Go.

Does Pokemon Go have a shiny Quaxly?

No, you cannot find and capture Shiny Quaxly, as it has not been added to Pokemon Go yet. We expect Quaxly to be added during a Paldea-themed event or during the Quaxly Community Day. The other starters from Paldea also don't have shiny variants yet.

While you can't get a shiny Quaxly, you can still evolve your Quaxly into Quaxwell and Quaquawall. It takes 50 and 100 Rare Candies to evolve into both forms respectively.

How to find Quaxly in Pokemon Go

The only way to catch Quaxly in Pokemon Go is by finding it and capturing it in the wild. There is no set method to catch a Fucoco, but it gets a spawn rate increase during rainy weather.

The Horizons: The Series Celebration event lasting from Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10 AM to Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8 PM local time increased Quaxly's spawn rate. Hopefully, we'll see another soon.

Quaxly has a maximum CP value of 1215 and is Vulnerable to Electric and Grass-type moves. Meanwhile, it's resistant to Fire, Water, Ice, and Steel-type attacks.
