Another day, another Pokémon product launch, this time combining the beautiful world of wonderous creatures with tacky, expensive Tiffany and Co jewellery.

If new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, or Pokémon trading cards, weren’t good enough, expensive jewellery of your favorite creatures may be bougie enough for you.

Via VGC, the new Pokémon jewellery collaboration is extremely pricey for fans of the series. With the cheapest item starting at $1,290 and the most expensive costing an eye-watering $29,000, you’d have to beat up a lot of Trainer Joeys to afford these gifts.

The Pokémon x Tiffany collaboration is a collection of nine pendants designed by artist Daniel Arsham. Five pendants, available in an oxidised sterling silver form with diamond accents, cost $1,290 per pendant. These include Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone and Mew.

Of course, the Pikachu pendant is not only more pricey, but more bedazzled. Instead of silver, the series’ mascot is available in 18-karat yellow gold with diamond accents. There’s also two sizes: the small Pikachu costs $9,900 and the bigger one costs an eye watering $29,000.

Each Pokémon pendant is housed in a cute blue Tiffany x Arsham Studio x Pokémon jewellery box. However, those who purchase the more expensive Pikachu pendants will receive a gorgeous Tiffany Blue Pokéball case to hold them.

“With my latest project with Tiffany, we’ve recontextualised Pokémon — a nod to my 2022 A Ripple in Timeproject in Tokyo — to orchestrate a new narrative,” announced artist Daniel Arsham. “With Pokémon and Tiffany, itself, there’s a sense of cultural permanence about each.”

For those with a lot of cash to splash, and are a huge fan of Pokémon, the new jewellery brand will go on sale on December 1, 2023. However, the pendants will only be on sale at specific stores.

In order to purchase the Tiffany x Arsham Studio x Pokémon items, you’ll have to go to the Tiffany & Co Landmark in New York or Omotesando store in Tokyo, or the Tiffany website.
