Multiple players are complaining about griefers and tryhards in the new Fortnite live mini-event where the server is expected to band together to shoot down Pandora's Box from the emerging Titan Hand.

After several days of anticipations and tremors, the Titan's Hand has finally emerged and laid bare Pandora's Box wrapped in chains. Now all that's left is for players to shoot down the chains. However, there's one small problem. Not everyone is willing to unite for this task as several tryhards continue to kill other players to secure their Victory Royale.

Breaking the chains on the Titan's Hand is already a colossal task, as freeing Pandora's Box requires players to deal what is rumored to be around 50 billion HP. When the event started, players realised that their attacks are barely having any impact on the colossal health bar.

Those excited for the event signed up a temporary truce, as the whole server and multiple communities band together to break through those chains. However, some people didn't get the memo.

This behavior has prompted several Reddit threads and X posts, where players are complaining about facing these issues. Some players reported that they couldn't even make it to the box or shoot for an extender period of time as people would come over just to wipe them all.

On the other hand, some players agree that this is all part of a Battle Royale game and a 30-second mini-event doesn't mean that everyone will participate for a 10-second animation.

"That’s what a mini-event is, though? They’re not going to do a whole playlist just for a 30-second animation.

Also you could’ve just gone into Team Rumble which has respawns enabled"

While this is true, it's a shame that the spirit of a community event is shattered because not everyone is curious enough about the contents of Pandora's Box. Luckily, we know the theme of the next Fortnite season, and you can learn about the new battle pass while you're at it.
